I have been busy and haven’t been able to write much lately. However, I just found out that the Macy’s online store has a new plus size clothing category. I believe it just opened this week. I must admit that I wasn’t keen on shopping at Macy’s before, but I am sure that was due to their limited if non-existent plus size clothing selections. I am glad to see they are following the trend and starting to cater to clothing for plus size women. The plus size clothing at Macy’s includes well known brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Jones New York, Baby Phat, and many more.

You probably have noticed by now that plus size clothes sometimes are labeled as 1X, 2X, 3X, etc for the size. Many plus size stores that use this type of sizing will usually give you the conversion to traditional sizes. Just in case they don’t, I wanted to at least attempt to compare one with the other. Generally speaking, a plus size article of clothing that is labeled 1X is equivalent to a size of 18 or 20, 2X is equivalent to a 22 or 24 and so on.
