Good morning fellow plus size ladies. I was just informed that Torrid is having a huge plus size clearance sale for the next 4 days. The slae is offering discounts of 50% off plus size clothing for young women. Torrid has stores both in shopping malls and online at Torrid.com. If your not familar with Torrid, they sell plus size, cutting-edge apparel and accessories for young women sizes 12-26. I was browsing their plus size clearance sale and have noticed some really good online deals. Let me give you a couple of examples. I saw a pair of White Belted Capri Pants for $12.49, discounted down from $34. I also saw a Brown Butterfly Tie Back Top for $13.49, discounted down from $38. Nice! Or how about a Black Body Shaper Slip for $21.49, discounted down from $58. Wow! I could list examples all day, but you probably want to see for yourself. You probably have noticed by now that plus size clothes sometimes are labeled as 1X, 2X, 3X, etc for the size. Many plus size stores that use this type of sizing will usually give you the conversion to traditional sizes. Just in case they don’t, I wanted to at least attempt to compare one with the other. Generally speaking, a plus size article of clothing that is labeled 1X is equivalent to a size of 18 or 20, 2X is equivalent to a 22 or 24 and so on. Brylane Catalog Outlet has some really big discounts on plus size clothing. If you haven’t shopped there yet, I would highly recommend them. I was looking through their plus size clothing this afternoon and found a great deal I wanted to share. They have a Notch Neck tunic for $3.99, discounted down from $14.99. It comes in 5 different colors and available up to a size 3X. They have so many great deals on plus size clothing, I couldn’t possibly list them all. As the winter season approaches, I started dusting off my plus size boots. If your like me, your calves are a little too big to be comfortable in any old boot. I found that out the hard way after paying $99 for a pair of nice boots only to find out later the calf section in the boot was too narrow for my calves. Luckily, I stumbled upon plus size calf boots at the Woman Within online store. The plus size boots at Woman Within are specially designed to fit women that have wider calves. Most of their boots have an elastic panel at the top of the boot that expands to fit larger calves, which provides much more comfort. Who doesn’t like lingerie? Most women I know and 100% of the men that I know like lingerie. Some stores that sell women’s lingerie don’t have plus sizes and the ones that do have very little selection. That just won’t do. I want to be able to find the same sexy lingerie that you see on those cute models in my plus size. Thankfully, there are more plus size stores that sell women’s plus size lingerie. One of those stores is called Hips and Curves. I just love that name. Hips and Curves caters to plus size women and only sells Plus Size Lingerie. As there website states, they are “Your Ultimate Plus Size Lingerie Boutique”. If you are looking for intimate apparel and plus size lingerie in the newest, sexiest and hottest styles, you really do need to visit Hips and Curves. I was doing my daily browsing of my favorite plus size clothing stores and found some great baragains on womens plus size dresses at the One Stop Plus online store. On their plus size clearance dresses page, they have almost 50 dresses listed with discounts all the way up to 62% off. Among them, there is a Moleskin Jacket Dress on clearance for $29.99 discounted down from $69.00. I also wanted to mention that One Stop Plus has many coupons available right now which will get your total bill lower or allow you to ship your order for free. If your looking for a good deal on plus size clothing, try browsing the clearance or sale sections of you favorite online plus ssize store. This is very similar to the clearance racks you see in a traditional store, but the savings you see for online clearance items is much greater. Of all the online stores that offer plus size clothing, 99% of them have a separate area where they place highly discounted items. The clearance page is usally the first place I go when shopping online. Let’s take Lane Bryant as an example. If you go to the plus size clearance page at Lane Bryant, you will see some really nice discounts on plus size tops for just $6.99 each. Wait! There is more. If you click on the View All button on the right towards the top, you get the full list of sale or clearance items. Last time I looked, there were 20 or so pages of clearance items to choose from. Next time your shopping for plus size clothing, check out the store’s clearance section for some good bargains.
Lane Bryant is probably one of the most well known names in plus size fashion apparel. If I had to guess, they have been around the longest amount of time. Lane Bryant offers their plus size clothing in local stores as well as online. I have shopped and purchased plus size clothing at the Lane Bryant store near my home and online at their internet storefront. I have found that their online store has a little better selection of styles and sizes and is about 10%-15% cheaper than shopping in the store. That’s just my personal experience.
